Glanhenwye Glanhenwye is situated near Hay, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons in the tranquil Wye Valley. The main house shares a cobbled court yard with Margaux Rose, Yellowdrama and Jessica. Glanhenwye is set in four acres of grounds providing space and privacy for each cottage. The surrounding area offers beautiful views of fields, mountains and the river Wye with excellent walks and outdoor activities available in the area, golf, canoeing, horse riding, rope centres and outdoor pursuits to name the main ones. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby and the quaint market town of Hay has bookstores, boutiques, art and antique shops amongst the village stores. The outbuildings at Glanhenwye, dating from the mid nineteenth century, were converted from the original barns and stables into a unique set of modern cottages whilst still retaining their authentic feel and features. Their interiors are style full, spacious and designed to spend memorable times in, whatever the weather. Jessica sleeps six in two double bed rooms and one twin room. Margaux Rose sleeps eight in three double bedrooms and one twin room and Yellowdrama sleeps six in two double rooms and one family room. Yellowdrama has a very large open plan lounge dining room and kitchen which will comfortably accommodate a dining table for twenty. All the cottage shave under floor heating downstairs and central heating upstairs.
